The Mt Laurel MUA reports that the repairs to the sewer main on Hartford Rd are nearly complete. The road is expected to reopen tonight at approximately 9 pm. However, we will need to close Hartford Rd again from Route 38 to Union Mill Rd tomorrow June 2nd between 9am and 4:30 pm, to repair the roadway. In addition, MUA is requesting residents to reduce water use to essential use only until 5pm this evening. The purpose of limiting water use is to reduce the amount of wastewater entering the sanitary sewer system and to reduce the amount of sewage being hauled. This water includes anything going down the drain, dishwashers, washing machines and toilets.

Mt. Laurel water supply HAS NOT BEEN AFFECTED and remains safe for all uses including consumption.
