Jessica Heeringa Abduction investigation
The Norton Shores Police Department continues to work with investigators from Federal, State, County and City law enforcement agencies to determine whether Jeffrey Willis is connected to the disappearance of Jessica Heeringa. Task force members continue to look for any direct evidence to link Jeffrey Willis to the Heeringa investigation. Several individuals who knew Willis have been interviewed to determine the connections to Jessica including high school friends and former employers.
Many rumors have been passed through social media that are untrue. Investigators are determined to follow the evidence and get to the truth. This investigation is very complex and will take time to confirm all information gathered. As credible information is obtained, the family of the victims and the community will be updated.
