Sun Prairie Police Department Media Release - Talon Place Incident 
The Sun Prairie Police responded to the 200 block of Talon Place for a disturbance where subjects were physically fighting. One person was reportedly shot. The victim received a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was treated at a Madison hospital. The suspect fled the scene and was later taken into custody in Madison. The victim and suspect are known to each other. At this time, this was an isolated incident and there is no immediate danger to the public. The Dane County Sheriff’s Office and Madison Police are assisting with the investigation at this time.

UPDATE:
The suspect in the Talon Place shooting incident is 20 year old Lloyd M. Bennett. He has no permanent address. Bennett is currently in custody at the Dane County Jail on a probation and parole hold. Charges related to the shooting incident will be forwarded to the district attorney’s office. No further information is available at this time.
