Over the last two days Sheriff's Office Dive Team members have searched the area where two 15 year-old boys were last seen on 05-26-16 at 11:45 AM. The search for the two boys has focused on a majority of the cove in Area R, on the west side of Woodward Reservoir. Dive team members have used sonar equipment to help them in their search, but as of tonight they have been unable to locate them.
There have been some difficulties for the divers over the last two days of their underwater search operation. The locations they have searched are approximations from where family believed they were at in the water and there is less than two feet of visibility making it hard for divers as they search.
At this point, the decision has been made to suspend dive operations and begin a surface water search beginning tomorrow morning. All available boats and jet skis will be on the water tomorrow morning to make sure there is maximum coverage as they continue to search for the two boys.
