UPDATE #LASD Dets Respond to 8500 Blk of Holloway Dr West Hollywood to Investigate Death of a Woman 
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of woman that occurred in the 8500 block of Holloway Drive, West Hollywood, on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at approximately 11:30 AM.
Detectives have learned that the victim‘s mother had contacted the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station to report her daughter missing. The deputies responded to the victim’s residence to conduct an investigation and made entry into the apartment. During a search of the apartment, deputies located the suspect and detained him. Deputies continued their search and discovered the victim in a bedroom unresponsive. The victim appeared to have sustained blunt force trauma to her head.
The victim, Iana Kasian, a 30 year-old female White, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, Blake Leibel, a 35 year-old male White, was subsequently arrested for the murder of the victim, mother of his child.
Detectives discovered the victim and the suspect were living together and had a child in common.
At this time, no weapons have been recovered.
The investigation is on-going. There is no further information available at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are responding to the 8500 block of Holloway Drive in the city of West Hollywood, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman. The woman was suffering from blunt force trauma.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect is believed to be a male White adult.
The investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
