HARRIS COUNTY, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to saving lives, and ensuring the safety of area motorists. The annual “Click it – Or Ticket” campaign is underway in Harris County, Texas.

Starting June 5, 2016, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division will be directing increased patrols throughout Harris County to ensure occupant restraint use in all passenger vehicles and trucks through increased enforcement.

• Most vehicular accidents are survivable when you wear a seat belt.
• The likelihood of dying or being seriously injured is greatly increased when the proper restraint belts are not worn.
• If you have a child in your motor vehicle please make sure the child seat is properly installed and the child seat is age appropriate.
