Press Release - Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Battery and Threats.

On May 19 at approximately 8:30 PM Corcoran Police Officers were dispatched to the 900 Block of Dairy Avenue, regarding an assault. Upon arrival Officers learned the victim was at this location in order to serve child custody papers. During the service of the court paper work the victim was attacked. The suspects involved in the attack were three sisters who had arrived with the male subject being served with the papers. During the attack one of the suspects brandished a knife and threatened to cut someone.

As the victim was being assaulted, a friend attempted to break up the fight and was cut with the knife. The injury was non- life threatening.

The suspects were identified as Alora Wills, Amber Douthard (Aka Wills) and Vanessa Wills. Corcoran Police issued a Be on the Lookout for the three suspects. On May 23, 2016, Hanford Police Officers located and arrested Alora Wills and Amber Douthard. The two suspects were arrested and transported to the Kings County Jail and booked on the above mentioned charges. The third suspect, Vanessa Wills, is still wanted. The Corcoran Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Vanessa.
