D-Day plus 72 event happening along Muskegon Lake on Saturday, May 21. Noise from planes, simulated gunfire expected. 
On Saturday, May 21, 2016, the D-Day plus 72 living history event will take place in downtown Muskegon at the USS LST 393 and Mart Dock. At approximately 12:00pm, the Hooligan's flight team will be making several passes around the Mart Dock area while the re-enactors on the LST 393 will be firing 40 Cal. and 50 Cal. guns that are equipped with a mixture to simulate live fire. During this demonstration, loud noises are expected from the aircraft flying over head and simulated gunfire.
