During the evening hours on May 13th, a teenage victim came to the ECPD to file an assault report. During the investigation, the officers learned that around 10:30 PM on Thursday evening, a teenage victim was walking alone on a path which leads from the 1500 block of Kearney Street to the BART path. As she was walking, an unidentified Hispanic male shoved her to the ground and sexually assaulted her. The victim fought with the suspect and he fled northbound on the BART path.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, around 30-years-old, heavy build and approximately 5'08" tall. The suspect may have injuries to his face and neck as a result of being struck and/or scratched by the victim. Anyone with information is encouraged to call or email Sergeant I.
