On Wednesday night May 11, 2016 at approximately 9:45 P.M. deputies were dispatched to Highway 31 North at the Quick Stop to a report of a hold up alarm. Deputies were told by the store owner that a man had come into the store and pointed a gun in his face and demanded money. The owner complied and the man ran out the door and got in a vehicle and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. While Hart was running to the vehicle he fired his handgun several times. Investigators were sent to the scene and shortly came up with a suspect location in Marshall County. Investigators responded to the residence in Lewisburg and after talking with several individuals made an arrest. Investigators arrested eighteen year old Jonathan Hart of Lewisburg. Hart was charged with Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Robbery, he remains in the Giles County Jail with bail set at $175,000.
