Man arrested for robbing restaurant. 
On the evening of Friday, April 29th 2016, Hope Mills Police Officers responded to the Wiener Works restaurant on Hope Mills Road in reference to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, Officers found that the suspect had already left the area and the case was forwarded to the Hope Mills Police Department Detective Division for further investigation.
During the course of their investigation, Detectives developed information that Cesario Ferrell Melvin, 36, was responsible for committing the robbery and Detectives took out warrants for his arrest. On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, Melvin was taken into custody with the assistance of the Fayetteville Police Department. Melvin is charged with the following offenses:
1 count of Felony Robbery With a Dangerous Weapon
1 count of Felony Second Degree Kidnapping
