The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department accepts limited property-related reports online.
The sheriff’s online reporting and tracking system has been created for the convenience of the public we serve. Citizens can submit these reports via computer or a smart phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Through this system, citizens can submit a report to document limited property-related incidents and receive a copy of the report via email. This system is not intended to replace LASD current tradition of service, but to enhance it by providing an additional option.
NO EMERGENCY reports will be taken through this system. If an emergency occurs or a crime is in progress, do not use this system. CALL 9-1-1.
The report system can be found at sheriff.lacounty.gov. Once you are on the official LASD website you will find “Featured Services” located on the left side of the screen. Click on the “File an Online Police Report.” Please read the criteria for filing a property-related on line report before submitting your information.
