#LASD Norwalk Station Detectives Seeking Public’s Help in Locating Possible Additional Victims

SUSPECT: 54-year-old Armando Hernandez, Booking #4651706
LOCATION: 13000 block of Clarkdale Avenue, Norwalk, Norwalk Park
UNIT: Norwalk Station Detective Bureau
NARRATIVE: Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Norwalk Station are attempting to locate possible additional victims to an attempt kidnapping that occurred on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at approximately 6:40 p.m., in the 13000 block of Clarkdale Avenue, in the city of Norwalk, at Norwalk Park.
The suspect, Armando Hernandez, booking #4651706, attempted to pull the victim, a 10-year-old girl, into a 2000 Tan Toyota Corolla, license plate #7PMD192. The vehicle is described as a 4-door sedan, with a black hood and front fenders, and dented rear quarter panels on both sides. The vehicle was found with two hats, a blue and red flannel shirt, a pamphlet for children’s ministry for a local church, and a spare license plate (4YRT079) in the trunk.
Suspect Armando Hernandez is a registered sex offender and is a resident of Norwalk. He was booked at Norwalk Station and is being held in lieu of no bail.
