If you live, work, or are visiting an area that may be affected by today’s propane tank leak near the intersection of South Mount Vernon Avenue and East Brundage Lane in Bakersfield, please pay close attention to this message.

There is a propane tank leak in the area near the intersection of South Mount Vernon Avenue and East Brundage Lane in Bakersfield.  The area near the leak, particularly the area from Mount Vernon Avenue east to Oswell Street, between East California Avenue and Texas Street, may become aware of a gas odor.  The odor is not hazardous.
