Details: On Saturday, April 23 at approximately 10:52 PM, officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Whitley Avenue for a report of a Domestic Violence incident. Officers contacted the victim, who stated her boyfriend, Anthony Martinez, assaulted her and dragged her out of her residence and choked her while threatening to kill her. The victim's injuries were consistent with the claims reported. Martinez was later located and placed under arrest. Upon arrival to the Corcoran Police Department Martinez ran from Officers but was apprehended on Whitley Avenue and taken back into custody. Martinez was later transported to the Kings County Jail for booking on the charges of Domestic Violence, Kidnapping, Escape from custody, Obstructing and delaying a Peace Officer and Criminal Threats. His bail was set at $230,000.00.
