Road Closure and Rally Impacting the City of Beverly Hills Sunday, April 24, 2016 
BHPD has received information that on Sunday, April 24, 2016, there will be a Armenian Genocide “Rally for Justice” march from Little Armenia in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles to the Turkish Consulate, located at 6300 Wilshire Blvd (x Crescent Heights Blvd). Organizers are estimating that approximately 60,000 people will be participating in the rally. Traffic in Beverly Hills and the surrounding area will be impacted. LAPD will be closing E/B Wilshire Blvd at San Vicente Blvd from 7:30am to 4:00pm. BHPD will be deploying appropriate resources to the event.
Last year’s 100th anniversary event drew 160,000 attendees and had no unusual events.
