April 30 is an important date for Washington residents-

1. All dog licenses are due by April 30. The Town Clerk's Office will be open until noon that day. After April 30 renewals will incur a monthly late fee.

2. The Police Department will holding a Drug Take Back Day on April 30 from 10 - 2. All unwanted, unused, expired and "I found this bottle of medicine in the cabinet and have no idea what it is" prescription and medications, both human and veterinary will be accepted at no charge.

Boat Registrations
For the time being the Washington Town Clerk's Office is not able to process boat registrations. DMV offices and neighboring towns that have boat registration agents will be able to assist boat owners (Hillsboro & Goshen are not boat agents), please check with that town's Town Clerk before going to get your boat registered.

Rescue Per Diem Positions
The Washington, NH (in southeast Sullivan County bordering Hillsboro) Rescue Squad, is hiring EMT, EMT-I and AEMT's to work per-diem Monday through Friday 7am to 5 pm. Maximum of 30 hours a week. Please apply to Capt. Robert Wright at [email protected].
