On April 21, 2016, at approximately 0730 hours, Demetrius Lamar Kelly, a 26 year-old Suisun City resident, came to the Police Department with his Attorney and turned himself into Major Crimes Detectives. Kelly was arrested and booked into Solano County Jail and charged with murder.
Major Crimes Detectives are still searching for Kyle Mathew Amos, a 28 year-old Fairfield resident. Amos is also wanted for his connection in the shooting death of La Angelo Darnell Stroughter.

Homicide Investigation Update - Seeking the Public’s Help
The Fairfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects wanted in connection with the April 6, 2016 shooting death of La Angelo Darnell Stroughter.
Suspect #1 - Kyle Matthew Amos, a 28yr old Fairfield Resident. He is described as a White Male Adult, 6'2" tall weighing about 200lbs. He has blond short shaved hair and blue eyes.
Suspect #2 - Demetrius Lamar Kelly, a 26yr old Suisun City Resident. He is described as a Black Male Adult, 5’11” tall weighing about 230lbs. He has long black hair and brown eyes.
Both subjects should be considered armed and dangerous.
