Attempted murder and shooting at inhabited dwelling - Suspect Arrested
On November 29, 2015, at approximately 7:05 pm, Corcoran Police Officers responded to a gang shooting in the 1000 block of Ventura Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered several victims had been shot at while standing outside the residence. After several months of follow-up investigation Corcoran Officers, along with the Kings County Gang Task Force determined the suspect in the shooting was Michael Corona.
Corona was arrested on April 16, 2016 at his residence without incident. Corona was booked into the Kings County Jail for attempted murder, assault with a firearm, and a gang enhancement. His current bail is set at $850,000.00
