HCSO: Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run Surrenders to HCSO
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – On Friday Alexis De Larosa Sosa (DOB 06/13/1994), the suspect in the vehicular deaths of a male and female, surrendered himself to authorities at the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
On Tuesday April 12, 2016 at approximately 9:30 pm Jesse Estrada was operating a 2004 BMW 330 southbound on Bammel North Houston. Maria Sabillon was the front seat passenger of the BMW.
De Larosa Sosa was operating 2006 Chevy pickup westbound on N. Sam Houston Parkway West.
The Chevy pickup was racing a dark colored Chrysler Challenger/Charger when he ran the red light at Bammel N. Houston and struck the left side of the BMW.
Both complainants’ in the BMW were pronounced deceased at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
Investigators will provide a detailed briefing on Friday at the HCSO's Baker Street Headquarters.
