Seeking Public’s Help in Identifying Assault Suspect

The Arlington Police Department received a 9-1-1 call on Monday, March 28, 2016 around 12:45 p.m., reporting that a man had entered the victim’s apartment in the 2200 block of East Park Row Drive. A woman reported that she was physically attacked by a man.

Officers responded to the scene and contacted the victim. She described her attacker as a black male, heavy set or muscular build, approximately 5’10” to 6’00” tall, with slight facial hair. The suspect had very distinctive scarring on his forehead. During the attack, the suspect was originally wearing a black scarf covering his face but as the victim struggled with the suspect, the scarf came off and she was able to provide some details about the description of the suspect. It is believed that he was last seen fleeing the area in an older model, light gray passenger car.

Based upon an interview with a forensic artist, the department is releasing composites of the possible suspect. Anyone with information related to this offense is asked to contact Detective Becky Szatkowski at 817-459-5580. Tipsters can also remain anonymous by contacting Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
