On April 4, 2016, CPD detectives conducted a follow up investigation of a sexual assault report made by a mentally disabled female. The victim was interviewed and disclosed that a family member had sexually assaulted her a couple of years prior at a home located in Corcoran. Investigators interviewed and arrested Darius Curtis (age 21) for rape and oral copulation of a mentally disabled person. During his interview with detectives, Curtis admitted to the sexual assault allegations made by the victim. Curtis was transported and booked into the Kings County Jail where he is being held on $150,000.00 bail.
