Financial Crime Investigators Seek Information On Two Suspects.

(Harris County, TX) Harris County Sheriff’s Office Financial Crime unit are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted for stealing a 64 year old woman’s wallet and purchasing high end merchandise.

Investigators were told by the victim, she was shopping at the WalMart store located in the 5600 block of East Sam Houston Parkway on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 12:15 pm.

She stated, while she was in the dairy section, suspect (1) approached her and asked her about different types of butter and margarines.

He then walked away down the aisle.

The victim later began receiving account alerts on her phone.

She was able to determine this was the only time she was away from her purse.

Investigators were provided surveillance video that showed suspect (1) walking towards the victim and distracting her. The second suspect walks past reaches into her purse, takes the wallet and walks away.

The two suspects are then seen meeting up in the men’s restroom, exiting and then buying merchandise with the credit cards.

The suspect pictures are in order of suspect (1) and (2).

HCSO Financial Crime unit would like to remind residents always beware of your surroundings when shopping. Never leave personal items unattended in a shopping cart.
