TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Please read and plan your routes for Monday, April 4 accordingly

Traffic Signal Work Scheduled Monday, April 4 at San Antonio Rd & First St/Cuesta Dr

The City’s Traffic Signal Improvement Project on San Antonio Road at First Street/Cuesta Drive is nearly complete. New traffic signals will be activated on Monday, April 4, 2016 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The existing signals will be non-operational while work is performed, which will require the intersection to function as a 4-way stop. Drivers are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and may wish to avoid the intersection if possible.

Loyola Bridge Update: Foothill Expressway Street Surfacing April 4-5

Information provided by the County of Santa Clara Roads and Airports Department

On Monday, April 4 and Tuesday, April 5, microsurfacing will be performed on Foothill Expressway at Loyola Corners.  On Monday, the Loyola Drive and Miramonte Avenue exits will be closed to exiting traffic at 8:00 a.m. southbound and 9:00 a.m. northbound.

  • Southbound traffic will continue south to the St. Joseph Avenue intersection returning on Granger Avenue
  • Northbound traffic will continue north to the Magdalena Avenue/Springer Road intersection to return on Springer Road


All traffic crossing Loyola Drive to the expressway will be directed to use Granger Avenue to go south and Frontero Avenue and Fremont Avenue to Springer Road to go north.
