Early Morning Burglary - 4400 Block N. Morris Blvd

On March 23, 2016, an early morning burglary occurred in the 4400 Block N. Morris Blvd. The suspect entered through an unlocked door, stole the car keys from inside the residence and took the victim’s vehicle. A short time later the Whitefish Bay Police Department located a suspicious vehicle in their jurisdiction, which was the stolen vehicle from the burglary on North Morris Blvd. Whitefish Bay attempted to stop the vehicle which was occupied by three adult male suspects and after a short pursuit all three were taken into custody. This was great work by the Whitefish Bay and Shorewood Police Officers.

The investigation revealed several unlocked vehicles were entered in the surrounding area of Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. The Shorewood Police Department wants to stress the importance of locking your homes and vehicles not only at night but during the day as well. Please help us promote crime prevention in Shorewood by locking your homes and vehicles and spreading the word to your neighbors to do the same.
