Help Lockport win the Battle of the Burbs 2016! 
If you ever listen to Eric & Kathy on The Mix (101.9 FM), then you will understand the contest – SUBURBAN MADNESS - BATTLE OF THE BURBS. They have this contest every year to go along with NCAA March Madness.
We are very excited to announce that the City of Lockport was chosen as one of the suburbs battling for the Championship to be the “Best Burb in IL”. It’s similar to NCAA basketball brackets, where the winner keeps moving up in the bracket and the loser is automatically out of it. Our first bracket starts tomorrow, and we are up against Morton Grove.
We need to get the word out to all of our friends, family members, neighbors, contacts, etc., to go to http://wtmx.com/latest-scoop-from-the-show/ AT 7:00 AM ON TUESDAY 3/22 TO VOTE FOR LOCKPORT. We only have 10 minutes to vote. If we receive more votes than Morton Grove, we move on. If not, we are out of it.
At the end, if we win the Championship, WTMX and Eric and Kathy or a rep will broadcast a segment of their show here in Lockport, handing us the trophy. There’s also a way to vote via text. The instructions for text voting will be given out on air.
Remember, you can ONLY vote between 7 – 7:10 AM tomorrow morning. Please help spread the word!!!
