Arrest Made of Two Male Juveniles for Residential Burglary
Monterey Park, Calif. – March 19, 2016 – On March 18, 2016 at approximately 6:30 p.m., an attempt residential burglary occurred on the 1000 block of East Crest Way in the City of Monterey Park. Two suspects entered the back yard and attempted to gain entry into the home by prying a bedroom window open. The suspects were startled by the home owner and fled the area prior to the police arriving. Police were able to obtain video surveillance of both of the suspects. Using department resources Detectives were able to identify both suspects.
On March 19, 2016, Detectives from the Monterey Park Police Department went to the City of Pico Rivera and located both suspects at their homes. Both suspects are juvenile. Property from a prior residential burglary in the City of Monterey Park was located at both of the juvenile’s residences.
Both juveniles were transported to the Monterey Park Police Department and were booked on residential burglary charges.
