...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota... St. Louis River At Scanlon affecting Carlton County .River levels on the St. Louis River at Scanlon will remain high for the next several days as water from snow melt and recent heavy rain works through the basin. Snowfall over the basin over the past 48 hours along with near freezing temperatures have resulted in recessions in upstream tributaries. Weather conditions over the next several days will remain cool and dry. && The Flood Warning continues for The St. Louis River At Scanlon.
* At 7:30 AM Friday the stage was 10.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this morning and continue to rise to near 10.9 feet by tomorrow early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage by Monday morning.
* At 10.5 feet...Minor flooding occurs near Scanlon.. This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.6 feet on Apr 26 2008. &&
