Have you ever wondered what happened to a loved one who disappeared?

There are 3,175 active missing persons cases in San Diego County. If you or someone you know has a friend or family member who is missing, attend an event that might help find answers.

Who should attend?
Families affected by the disappearance of a loved one.

What to bring?
Families are encouraged to bring at least two biologically related family members of the missing person in order to provide DNA samples and any dental information, photographs and X-rays of the missing person.

What will the day include?
One-on-one meetings with forensic professionals who will be collecting dental records, medical reports and photographs of missing persons, as well as medical cheek swabs on family members. Law enforcement agencies such as the San Diego County Sheriff's Department will be on hand to file missing person reports and update information on older reports.
