Motel enforcement leads to four arrests

On 03/04/2016, at approximately 8:39 A.M., Morgan Hill Police Officer's were dispatched to the Executive Inn, located at 16505 Condit Road, to investigate the report of a suspicious circumstance. As the Officer's were responding to the scene, they observed a vehicle make an illegal u-turn and then proceed to the main parking lot of the Executive Inn. Upon arrival, Officer's discovered the aforementioned vehicle and occupants were associated to the suspicious activity. Moments later, Officer's contacted two subjects who were seated inside of the now parked vehicle. The driver was identified as Robin Ofiana ( 51 y/o) and the passenger was identified as Lori Lumactod (37 y/o), both from San Jose. A records check revealed that Ofiana was driving on a suspended driver's license and Lumactod had a misdemeanor $5,000.00 warrant. A search of the vehicle was conducted incident to arrest where narcotics and paraphernalia were located.

The Officer's continued the investigation and obtained information that Ofiana and Lumactod were associated to guests at the hotel. Officer's later contacted Paul Rangel (46 y/o) from Gilroy and Erika Martinez (27 y/o) also from Gilroy, at a nearby room. A records check revealed that Rangel had $2,000.00 warrant and Martinez had a $50,000.00 warrant. A search of the room revealed narcotics and paraphernalia.

Robin Ofiana was arrested for the following charges: driving on a suspended driver's license, possession of methamphetamine and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Ofiana was transported to the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

Lori Lumactod was arrested for her $5,000.00 warrant and transported to the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

Paul Rangel was arrested for the following charges: $2,000.00 warrant, possession of methamphetamine and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Rangel was released from custody with a citation.

Erika Martinez was arrested for the following charges: $50,000.00 warrant, possession of methamphetamine and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Martinez was transported to the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
