Home Invasion Robbery
Four suspects were seen driving in the Duarte Mesa area in a Silver Range rover with paper plates. They parked in a driveway of a Duarte home and sat for several seconds before quickly exiting the Range Rover and approaching the victim who was busy working on his yard. The suspects began attacking the resident who attempted to flee to the street while calling for help from his neighbors.
The male victim was beaten as was a female victim who was attacked as she opened her front door to answer as two suspects rang her doorbell. Both Victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
A third Victim escaped injury as she fled in her car after stopping to check on screams from the home. The third victim saw the first victim on the ground. The suspect who had beaten the male victim attempted to gain entry to her vehicle, by pulling open her driver side door. She drove away prior to the suspect gaining entry.
The three suspects all described as wearing black hoodie sweaters. The first suspect is described as being a black male 18 to 25 years of age. The suspects were last seen fleeing from the scene in the silver Range rover driven by a fourth suspect Southbound on Spinks Canyon Road and out of view.
