Incident Summary:
On March 5, 2016, at approximately 07:20 AM, Petaluma Police Department responded to Independence Armory at 501 Lakeville St. for a report a commercial burglary that had just occurred. Four unknown subjects all believed to be males had used a vehicle to ram the business. The vehicle defeated the business’ security and the subjects gained access inside. The subjects proceeded to steal numerous firearms from the business and fled in the vehicle. The vehicle was described a 1990s model light green Honda Accord with a primer or white colored driver’s door.
The Petaluma Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects or the vehicle are encouraged to notify Petaluma Police Officer Gerke by phone, 707-781-1225.
