Michael Saterlund arrested for attempted rape, deputies believe there may be additional victims

INCIDENT: Attempted Rape
LOCATION: 500 Block of Desnok Street, City of Needles
SUSPECT: Michael Saterlund, 26 year old resident of Needles
VICTIM: Confidential
SUMMARY: On February 28, 2016 at approximately 9:00 A.M., the victim was at a party at a residence in Needles. The victim fell asleep in a spare bedroom at the residence. Saterlund entered the bedroom without the victim's knowledge and attempted to have sexual intercourse with her as she slept. The victim woke up as Saterlund attempted to have sex with her. Saterlund was arrested and booked at the Needles Sheriff Station for Attempted Rape and is being held on $125,000 bail.
Deputies are releasing the booking photograph of Michael Saterlund as they believe there may be additional victims.
