Update on Chad Ruark 
Update on missing person Chad Ruark: Chad has not had confirmed contact with his family since 2/23. A text was received by a family member on 2/28 purporting to be from Chad, but we have not been able to confirm that it did actually come from him.
Investigators are following leads. At this point, we have nothing that clearly indicates foul play. He may very well have left of his own choosing as he is legally allowed to do. He has no active warrants.
Chad, if you are reading this, we just want to make sure that you are okay. Please call the OCSO at 706-769-5665 and ask to speak with Scott Berry or James Hale, or call one of your brothers. Again, we just want to make sure that you are okay.
