On Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 11:39 AM, CPD officers received information regarding a female adult allegedly having sexual relations with a 16 year old male. Officers interviewed the male victim who advised he had been involved in sexual relationship with a 30 year old female later identified as Rosa Ortega. The victim advised the sexual relationship had been occurring for several months.

Based on the information, Ortega was contacted and detained in the 2800 block of Sherman Avenue. Ortega was interviewed and admitted to having sexual relations with the minor. Ortega was later transported and booked at the Kings County Jail in Hanford, CA for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. Ortega was booked with a total bail amount of $120,000.00.
