The Florence Township Police Department is warning residents not to leave their vehicles unlocked and unattended while the motor is running. Unfortunately there are criminals out there that are taking advantage of residents who are leaving their vehicles unattended with the keys in the ignition.

We are also investigating several motor vehicle burglaries that occurred over the last two nights in both Florence and Roebling. The suspects are looking for unlocked vehicles to steal from. Do not give these criminals an easy target. Please lock your doors.
