Location: 900 block of South La Verne Avenue, East Los Angeles  

Victim(s): Two male adults

Suspect(s): Unknown

Unit: LASD Homicide Bureau – Lieutenant Lewandowski

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department – Homicide Bureau detectives are responding to the 900 block of South La Verne Avenue, East Los Angeles to investigate the shooting death of a man and the wounding of another. 

One of the victims was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.  The other victim received non-life threatening injuries. 

The investigation is on-going, and no additional information is available at this time.
