Advisory

Still receiving complaints about tax scam

Several Miami students have reported that they have received a phone call from someone claiming, rather aggressively, that the student owes taxes and failure to pay will result in the police responding to arrest them unless they immediately pay money. This is a SCAM. Do not send money; do not engage the caller. Simply hang up the phone.
