OSBI Forensic Artist Reconstructs Skull of Woman Found Last Year Along I-40 in Caddo Co.

April 7, 2015, Department of Transportation employees found a woman’s body dumped on the side of Interstate 40 near Hinton in Caddo County. The Caddo County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance with this suspicious death case. One of the first steps in such a case is to identify the victim. Her identity remains unknown. Her cause of death is also unknown. The medical examiner’s office has determined she is between 18 and 35 years old, but most likely in her mid 20s. She stood between 4’8” and 5’3” tall. They also determined she is possibly of African-American decent. She was found wearing a unique earring. A picture of that earring is provided in this release. Her body was badly decomposed when found. Doctors believe she was likely dead up to several weeks before being found. OSBI Forensic Artist Harvey Pratt has reconstructed her skull, hoping someone will recognize her. Several pictures of that reconstruction are included in this release. If the reconstruction looks similar to someone you have not seen or heard from in approximately a year, please contact the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
