KEY FACTS & OVERVIEW
• Total budget appropriation for fiscal year 2016 is $4,667,724. The amount to be raised by Taxation is $4,194,863 equating to .158 per $100 tax rate.
• The Winslow Township Fire Department is experiencing the trend that is affecting volunteers nationally. Due to declining memberships, we are seeking to hire additional firefighters to maintain fire and emergency protection levels. A referendum question will be placed on the ballot to hire additional firefighters for continued added protection. The anticipated cost will be $551,104.00. The hiring of additional career staff will increase fire protection for all of Winslow Township and improve coverage for the southern portion of the Township.
• There are presently six fire stations in Winslow Township Fire Department. WTFD is exploring a four station model and reducing our fleet as we continue to modernize. The department has the following apparatus:
6 Engines 2 Tender Engines

1 Quint 1 Water Tender
1 Rehab 3 Brush Units
• Fire Service personnel are on duty 24/7.
