Pasadena Police is releasing information about a recent shooting near your address on February 16, 2016:
SHOOTING
PASADENA, CA – At about 9:44 pm, Pasadena Police responded to the area of Palm Terrace and Claremont Street regarding reports of gunshots heard in the area. Officers found one Black male victim in his 20’s suffering from gunshot wounds. Pasadena Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Detectives responded to the scene. It is unknown whether the incident was gang related or whether the shooting was associated with last night’s shooting incident in the 1400 block of north El Molino Avenue. The homicide investigation is in early stages so limited information is available. As more information develops an update will be provided.
