Winter Weather Advisory in effect at noon today through 10am Monday.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THAT INCLUDES BUTLER COUNTY FOR SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 10 AM EST MONDAY.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND QUICKLY MOVE ACROSS THE AREA...TAPERING OFF IN THE EVENING. LINGERING LIGHT SNOW OR FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL BE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 3 INCHES IS EXPECTED...WITH A TRACE OF ICE POSSIBLE
* IMPACTS...TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ARE EXPECTED DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITIES AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. ANY ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL CAUSE SLICK ROADS AS WELL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW OR FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING. STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR
