Deputies arrest armed subject after he broke into residence.

On 2/11/16 at approximately 0830, deputies from the Rosamond Substation were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance call in the 2400 block of Werner Avenue.   The reporting party said that a friend had sent him a message through Facebook.  The message stated that a subject she had an active restraining order against had broken into her house and the subject had a gun.  The female was there with her 3 year old daughter.  Deputies arrived and tried to make contact with the female.  The suspect came out of the house wearing camouflage pants, boots, a black shirt and a black bandana covering his face.  The suspect, who was identified as Dustin Downing from Lancaster, had a dagger tucked into his waistband.  Deputies were able to take Downing into custody, as he repeatedly told them to shoot and kill him.  Downing was booked into CRF in Bakersfield on numerous charges including,: Stalking, False Imprisonment, Burglary, Violation of a Restraining Order, Brandishing a Weapon and Terrorist Threats.
