UPDATE for Green Bay Eastside shooting. The incident appears to be an accidental self-inflicted gun shot wound.

UPDATE for Eastside shooting in Green Bay,
On 02-07-16 at approximately 2:30pm, officers from the Green Bay Police Department responded to a parking lot on the far east side of the city after receiving a report of a male that had been shot. Officers located the male and provided first aid until rescue personnel arrived. The scene of the shooting was located near the intersection of Humboldt Rd and University Av. The male, a 30 year old Green Bay resident, was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment. The incident appears to have been an accidental self- inflicted gun shot. It was an isolated incident and the general public is not in any danger. This continues to be an active investigation and no further details will be released at this time.
