Single Vehicle Fatal Rollover Collision In Chula Vista 
On 2/07/16, at approximately 12:53 AM, the Chula Vista Police Department received a 911 call reporting a rollover traffic accident involving a single vehicle at 700 East H Street.
Officers arrived on scene and discovered the adult male driver was deceased. Three passengers in his vehicle were transported to various area trauma centers. The passengers are all in stable condition.
The vehicle was traveling westbound on East H Street, east of Del Rey Blvd. at a high rate of speed. For unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed the center median and then rolled over, coming to rest on the south sidewalk.
The preliminary investigation indicates speed and alcohol may have played a role in this collision.
The Chula Vista Police Traffic Division will be conducting the investigation.
