FBI Seattle: Tacoma, WA, Murder Suspect Sought in Los Angeles, (Photo Attached) #LASD
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has learned that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is actively looking for Robert Deshawn Grott, male black 29 years old, who may currently be in the Los Angeles area. (Photos of Robert Grott attached)
Robert Grott is wanted on a Washington State arrest warrant for murder. He is also wanted on a federal arrest warrant for Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution (UFAP) filed in United States District Court in Washington State.
Robert Grott is one of two suspects that the Tacoma Police Department believes were involved in a homicide that occurred on February 1, 2016, in the Tacoma, Washington area.
On Thursday, February 3, 2016, Rashaad Dominique Grott, 22 years old, the brother of suspect Robert Grott, turned himself in at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department West Hollywood Station in connection with the case. Rashaad Grott admitted to driving with Robert Grott to Los Angeles, California from Tacoma, Washington.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has confirmed that on February 2, 2016, Robert Grott spent the night in a downtown Los Angeles area hotel.
Robert Grott should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS and should not be approached. The gun used in the homicide has not been recovered.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of suspect Robert Grott is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or immediately call 9-1-1 if you see him.
