The New Lenox Police has recently received two reports of spare tires being stolen from vehicles parked in the Metra Parking Lot located at 300 Church Street. In both incidents, the vehicles were Jeep vehicles and had exposed spare tires. The NLPD encourages anyone owning vehicles with an exposed spare tire to secure the tires with an additional locking mechanism.

Also as a reminder, when parking your vehicle make sure that doors are locked and that there are no valuables left in plain view.
