Narrative:
On the morning of January 23, 2016, an observant and diligent citizen saw two people near a residence in the 13000 block of Orions Flight Way in the Santa Rosa Valley. The two people were acting suspicious and were hiding in bushes when cars drove by. The citizen called the Sheriff’s Office and deputies from the Moorpark station responded. When the deputies arrived, they saw a car driving in the area that they recognized as possibly being involved in several recent residential burglaries in the Santa Rosa Valley. Deputies stopped the vehicle, which was occupied by Edward Parra and David Aldapa. Parra and Aldapa were quickly identified as the suspects involved in recent burglaries.
The subsequent investigation conducted by investigators from the Moorpark and Camarillo Police Departments revealed that Parra, Aldapa, Manuel Muniz, and a male juvenile had committed several additional residential burglaries in the 11000 block of Rocky High Road in the Santa Rosa Valley. Investigators searched the four suspects’ homes and recovered a significant amount of evidence and stolen property including audio/visual equipment and tools.
All four suspects are being charged with one or more counts of residential burglary. Edward Parra, David Aldapa, and Manuel Muniz were all booked into the Ventura County Jail. The male juvenile was cited and released to his parents.
