Barstow deputies arrest two suspects for Residential Burglary.

INCIDENT: PC459 - Residential Burglary
LOCATION: Camarillo Ave, Barstow
SUSPECT(S): 1. Cory Upperman, 29 years of age, a resident of Barstow
2. Jimmy Farmer, 40 years of age, a resident of Barstow
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, January 23, 2016, sheriff’s dispatch received a report of suspicious circumstances. The caller saw two males enter a house then a short time later the two males left carrying a television. The males left quickly in an older white colored, 4-door car. The suspects were described as: white males, 20-25 years of age. Suspect #1 had a full beard and wore a dark colored jacket. Suspect #2 wore a windbreaker style jacket.
Deputies Woods and Barela of the Barstow Sheriff’s Station responded to the residence. Through investigation, they learned the owner of the residence had recently passed away. Additional information was gathered that assisted in identifying the possible suspects.
On Sunday, January 24, 2016, Woods and Barela continued their investigation. They were able to positively identify Cory Upperman and Jimmy Farmer as the suspects in the burglary and theft of the television. At 1:48 pm, Upperman and Farmer were arrested for residential burglary, a violation of Penal Code 459 then transported to jail for booking. Bail was set at $75,000.00 each.
