Winter Storm Warning in Effect - Saturday into Sunday 
The National Weather Service has upgraded the earlier Winter Storm Watch to a Winter Storm Warning. The Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 4:00AM on Saturday, 01/23, through 7:00AM on Sunday, 01/24, and is calling for heavy snow and near-blizzard conditions.
The current forecast is as follows:
- Snow accumulations of 4-8 inches
- Winds from the north at 10-20 MPH, with gusts up to 35 MPH
- Temperatures in the 20’s
The high winds will cause blowing and drifting snow, creating near-blizzard conditions, and may cause trees or utility wires to fall. As always, treat all downed utility wires as if they are live and stay away from them. Report any fallen wires or trees to the North Castle PD at 914-273-9500. Due to the hazardous roadway conditions, we urge you to limit your travel to essential trips so that our Highway Department can adequately clear the roadways.
